Screen Forever

Brief

Waldron Smith contracted Microhire to provide all technical and creative for Screen Forever, Australia’s leading media and entertainment conference.

Responsibilities

Microhire was responsible for:

• Technical and Creative Production Management
• Design of a TV Studio Stage Set for the plenary room
• Vision mixing of ‘live to screen camera’s and content to enhance the TV studio theme
• Set-up, rehearsals, operate and pack-down of all technology
• Speakers Presentation Management and networking of all rooms
• >Creative design and styling of the Awards dinner

Challenges

Being the conference for Australia’s leading media and entertainment industry expectations were high that the conference would be state-of-the-art using the latest technology and live event show craft. Our concept was to design and create a TV studio set that re-created the experience of a ‘live show’. The set design included an ‘interview lounge’ for less formal panel discussions, LED panels to create colour movement and pattern and a ‘live digital backdrop’ to the presentations.
