The Pivot Summit is a tech-centric business event hosted in Geelong. Pivot is part of a wider movement to transform Geelong into a technology destination, attracting high-profile sponsors and international speakers in the field of digital business innovation.
The event’s organiser, Perfect Events, approached Microhire with the objective to create a stunning and technologically sophisticated event that was in-line with the event’s mission.

Responsibilities
Our team supplied custom Audio Visual solutions that were the backbone of presentation, webcasting, social media and audience interaction systems.
Audience questions fielded from social media were displayed on crystal-clear displays while presenters used a five metre LED wall as an engaging visual tool and backdrop. In addition, we provided the AV production tools, including cameras and microphones, to stream the event live on the web.
We also played a technical advisory role, assisting in the re-encoding and licensing of digital platforms and helping the client overcome the physical challenges of the venue.
Results
Pivot was an immense success. The venue was transformed into an immersive presentation space, while the content of the presentation was streamed online, spreading the influence of the event to a wide digital audience.
