Microhire, the largest Australian owned audio-visual and event staging services provider, proudly announces an exciting new partnership with the iconic Pier One Sydney Harbour, Autograph Collection. Renowned for its unrivalled location, spectacular views and state-of-the-art facilities, Pier One Sydney Harbour is setting a new benchmark for event experiences with the installation of Microhire’s cutting-edge technology.

A Landmark Venue Boasting Next-Gen Technology
Nestled alongside the Sydney Harbour Bridge at The Rocks, the unique federation style hotel offers a selection of 10 unique function rooms, including indoor and outdoor spaces. Each venue boasts an abundance of natural light, fresh air, stunning harbour views and a private pontoon for arrivals by boat.

The centrepiece of the Water Room will be a fusion of innovation and impact with a 10-metre Ultra-wide LED wall. With vibrant, high-resolution visuals, this immersive moveable display will provide flexibility in the unique space, ensuring uninterrupted spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Luna Park. Paired with 36 kinetic lights and 48 moving LED lights, the room transforms into a dynamic, visual display with a breathtaking interplay of motion and light that redefines ambience. Using the latest advancements in technology, an AI-powered 4K PTZ tracking video camera ensures seamless, high-quality video capture, making this space a technological marvel.

Overlooking Walsh Bay, the Dawes Point Rooms are designed to embrace natural light while delivering pristine visuals. High-definition laser projectors paired with high-contrast projection screens ensure presentations remain sharp, even in bright conditions. Meanwhile, colour-changing and LED ceiling lights add a layer of customisation to suit any event’s mood.

Arguably one of the city’s most sought-after function spaces, the Bridge Room is located under one of the world’s most iconic bridges and boasts an adjoining clear-wall Marquee. Event organisers can create bespoke themes and vibrant settings with coloured LED wash lights in these versatile spaces. For intimate gatherings, the Private Dining Room blends art with technology featuring an 85-inch 4K QLED display which doubles as digital artwork, alongside a 4K video conference system for seamless connectivity. The venue-wide upgrades include a mobile 135-inch High-Definition LED wall, offering ultra-large visual displays in any location, and 18 digital signage displays to enhance navigation and branding opportunities. Expertly engineered audio systems ensure crystal-clear sound across all event spaces, while wireless connectivity and advanced system controls make operating these spaces effortless.
