Brief

This was the 2nd year Microhire had been contracted to provide event staging services. Our brief for this year’s event was to create a memorable concert atmosphere.

Challenges

• Liaising and coordinating the technical requirements for the international act
• Stage change over during show
• Floor plan layout to accommodate guests and event format
• Rigging limitations

Responsibilities

• All design and production management for the event
• 4x rear project screens and complex switching of multiple vision sources
• Stage design and drape backdrop
• Lighting design for the stage and function space incorporating 60 intelligent fixtures, LED strips and theatrical lighting creating a fully choreographed lighting show
• Audio system design, installation and operation
• Install scheduling, set-up coordination and pack-down coordination
• Stage management

Results

A very successful evening. The CEO enjoyed the night so much they extended the event by an extra hour of service, which was a big hit with the staff and guests.
