Established in the ‘60’s, Durham AV is a well-respected audio visual supplier to the Melbourne exhibition, conference and venue markets. With several long-term technical staff, that hold a wealth of industry IP, the company has an extensive client base that will integrate well with Microhire’s small, medium to large businesses who value the company’s ‘can do’ attitude, ‘will do’ reliability and value for money.
Microhire Group General Manager, Shayne Liddell stated “I am excited by the purchase of such a well respected industry player as Durham AV. They have some unique products such as the LED Lightfast units, a group of highly skilled experienced staff and an operation that can bolt-on to our existing Microhire operations. The purchase of the business was finalised yesterday and will continue to trade as Durham AV in the medium term.
It certainly presented as an excellent opportunity to incorporate a complimentary business such as Durhams AV into the broader Microhire Group. We will spend a few months transitioning the business.
