Frequently Asked Questions |
| How early should I organise equipment hire before the event?
We can accept orders for your hire even up to 12 months before the installation date, however the pricing will be set as to when you accept the quotation. We do require at least 48 hours notice before an event, otherwise a rush job fee may be applied.
I'm having problems with my rental equipment - what should I do?
MicroHire offers 24-hour support on hardware faults for our equipment. If you require support, or to speak to a technician, please ring your nearest MicroHire office. For out of hours support, a number will be available to call from the office answering service.
What is ISDN?
ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) is a method of connecting to the telephone system or to the Internet via specially installed ISDN lines. This connection method is faster than a standard analogue modem PSTN (Public Subscriber Telephone Network) connection to the Internet. ISDN services are provided by Telstra Bigpond, and must be organised at least 72 hours in advance for ISDN connection. ISDN lines must be installed in your venue to use this service.
